Collaborative Forest Landscape Restoration Program (CFLRP) All-Hands Web Meeting

Sponsored by USFS Forest Management, Range Management, and Vegetation Ecology in partnership with the National Forest Foundation

You're invited to join an upcoming webinar!

Objectives

As we move into the final year of the 2009 CFLRP authorization, this web meeting is intended to provide an opportunity for the CFLRP community to come together, to hear and discuss program updates from various perspectives, to engage in dialogue as we reflect back on what we've learned, and to look forward to the future. To those ends, this web meeting will:

  • Promote dialogue between those in the USDA Forest Service who work with CFLRPs both locally and nationally and local partners in CFLRPs.
  • Exchange important information between partners and the agency.
  • Gather initial reflections on lessons learned through the CFLRP and implications for collaborative restoration moving forward.
Suggested Audience
CFLRP project participants, including collaborators and Forest Service employees

Speakers
  • This web meeting will feature a panel of partners engaged in CFLRPs from across the nation and presentations from:
  • John Crockett, Acting Director, Forest Management, Rangeland Management & Vegetation Ecology, USFS;
  • Lindsay Buchanan, Collaborative Forest Landscape Restoration Program Coordinator, USFS;
  • Dylan Kruse, Director of Government Affairs & Program Strategy, Sustainable Northwest;
  • Courtney Schultz, Associate Professor of Forest and Natural Resource Policy, Director of the Public Lands Policy Group, Department of Forest and Rangeland Stewardship, Colorado State University; and
  • Will Butler, Associate Professor, Florida State University, Department of Urban and Regional Planning.

      Please note that this session begins at 2:00 PM Eastern. This session is being recorded and will be available on National Forest Foundation's website.
