The National Forest Foundation, Stevens Pass Mountain Resort and U.S. Forest Service are excited to host a Friends of the Forest® volunteer stewardship event to remove trash from the mountain slopes of scenic Stevens Pass. Volunteers will have an opportunity to ride a ski lift to reach cleanup areas. Complimentary BBQ lunch is provided by the Stevens Pass Mountain Resort.
Volunteers must register by August 6, 2017.
Volunteers should bring rain gear, bug repellent, and, in order to work on the steep slopes, wear ankle supporting boots with good traction (i.e. hiking or work boots).

This year we will be giving some prizes to the finders of the most unique piece of trash!
The base area of the resort is located south of US-2 approximately 2 hours from Seattle and 40 minutes from Leavenworth. From Seattle, take I-405 North to exit 23 (Highway 522) for Wenatchee/Monroe, then travel east on US-2 for 50 miles to the resort. From Leavenworth, travel west on US-2 for 36 miles. Park at the south entrance near the base of the resort.
