CARSON NATIONAL FOREST PLAN REVISION WORKSHOPS

The Carson National Forest and the National Forest Foundation are hosting four workshops about the new Forest Plan, which will guide management of the forest over the next 10-15 years. Each workshop will:

  • Provide an opportunity for members of the community to interact with Carson National Forest staff to learn how the proposed new Forest Plan allows various uses, addresses public concerns, and provides benefits to the community.
  • Prepare community members to provide constructive feedback on the proposed new Forest Plan once released for formal public comment to help the CNF generate the best possible final version.

You are welcome to attend more than one workshop (they will all follow the same format). We appreciate your RSVP for whichever workshop(s) you will attend, as we will be providing refreshments.
